Why Yashira.org had a basescore lower than other sites, if some of the challenges of yashira are very hard?

Probably because language is spanish and not english.
Take a look to other foreign sites.

I don't believe that the language is related to the quality of the challenges.
Only because a site has an english language, the score is higher? that isn't just

We decided once to score foreign sites lower.
The main reason was that many people might find it unfair when they cant speak a language and others do.

However, i think that the new foreign sites are scored too low, and i think i will raise the score soon.

Expect that the scores for foreign sites will be around the value of Happy-Security and Newbie Contest (both of the sites have their score raised already)

You had only think in the people that speak english language, and not in the people like me that only know spanish and a bit of english. I thought that the purpose of that site is to "... make a global ranking for challengers..." like you said. Look here, there are only european people and we are the few that live in america/latin america/asia/africa. Well, I know that the changes will be minimun, but I think that you should assign the score according to the quality of the challenges, and not by the language of the site (something hard).

I think everebody will agree on Hades'proposal. But is the implementation really easy ?

Currently the score for a site depends on the basescore + average solved on that site, explained in the scoring faq.

We already had the idea to alter all the sites basecores based on certain factors, like
- amount of challengs
- difficulty of site

Some people could post what they think the sites should score (list own basescore proposals).
The basescores should be around 5000-10000, due 100.00% would equal around 10000-20000 points.

Another possibility would be to score all sites equal, and let the average solved thingy do the rest (maybe alter the forumula slightly).

I haven't been on Yashira for a long time and I tried twice this week... But impossible. Always the same page, even I try to get a "lost password" message. Is it me ?
