Hello Challengers,

As some of you already know, i am working hard on wechall4.
It will be a complete recode, using some generice website framework (the GizmoreWebsiteFramework).

Most stuff is already working fine, but still to early to announce something or publish some test area for the public.


However, i wondered if some of you would like to see a "Team Ranking"

People could officially team up and appear in a ranking by usergroups.

I wonder if some of you would like to see that.

There will surely be teamranking one day, but it`s not set on high-priority.

new layout looks awesome.
but team ranking is the worst decision ever.
People from the same team will share solutions to make them team the best.
Fair-play game will fail, so Wechall with the Team Ranking will fail ;p

Hmm, maybe team ranking is not the best idea.

My idea was to only score the best player of each group, but i agree even that might result in people exchanging solutions.

Thank you for your opinion on that :)


So if there might not be a team ranking, there might be at least "usergroups" with their own private forum area. :)

Maybe you could have specific challenges for teams (with a limit on the number of members, something like 8). That way teammates could share solutions (they would actually work together on solving the challenges). This would of course have a separate ranking.

Team ranking seems just about guaranteed to result in solution sharing and I'm not sure how you'd get around that. Not in favor in general. BAAL's idea could work though.

The new layout looks slick. Good job.
